Raymond Jendrowski

Raymond Jendrowski passed away on October 25, 2025 at Wellbridge of Romeo in Romeo, Michigan. Ray was born on July 18, 1946 in Detroit to Leon and Clara Jendrowski. Ray spent his development years growing up in the Pole-Town area of the city of Detroit. Ray was a very proud graduate of St. Stanislaus Catholic High School in Detroit. Ray was also deeply proud of his Polish heritage. After graduating high school, Ray valiantly served his country in the Untied States Army attaining the rank of Sergeant (E-5). When Ray's duty to his country was finished, he settled into civilian life taking a job at Modco Tools and later at Valenite where he very quickly found his calling in sales where industry insiders knew him as Ray J. Ray's skills in the sales of cutting tools to the big three as well as companies like General Dynamics earned him the Top Gun - Million Dollar Sales Award, an honor that he was very proud of. When moving on from Valenite Ray took a Regional Sales Manager job with Buck-Furkardt where he mentored other sales professionals passing along not only his knowledge but also his passion for sales. While working in a very successful sales career Ray continued his education at Macomb Community College achieving his Associate's Degree in Numerical Control Technology, graduating in 1974, thus furthering his career success and widening his education. Later in life, with furthering his education and his Catholic faith in mind, Ray continued his education achieving an undergraduate degree in Pastoral Ministry from Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit in May of 2000. When not at work Ray was deeply devoted to his faith. Ray was a very proud member of the Franciscan Order and was also a lifetime member of the St. Nicholas council of the Knights of Columbus attaining 3rd and 4th degree status with the Knights and would often serve on the Color Guard for funeral services. Being a 'Detroit guy' Ray also deeply loved his Detroit sports teams. He could often be found cheering on the Lions, Tigers and Red Wings. His love of sports carried over into his devotion to college football and his love of golf. He is the beloved husband of 58 years of Mary. Loving father of Jennifer (Tim) Miller, Diane (Brad) Walker and the late Michelle Czenkner. Dear father in law of Tom Czenkner. Very proud grandpa of Jacob Czenkner, Jared Czenkner, Cameron Walker, Jonathan Czenkner, Dylan Walker, Danny Miller, and Catie Czenkner. Dearest brother of the late Thomas (Barbara) Jendrowski, the late Carl (JoAnn) Jendrowski and the late Paul (the late Betty) Jendrowski. Ray is further survived by many dear nieces and nephews.
