Edmund J. Jeffrey

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Edmund J. Jeffrey on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the age of 60. Ed left this world peacefully at the Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, surrounded by loved ones who cherished him deeply. Born on June 22, 1964, Ed was a long-time resident of Sterling Heights, MI, where he shared a beautiful life with his loving wife, Gennifer Jeffrey (née Culbert). A devoted family man, Ed was the proud and loving father of Karen (Ted), Megan, Eddie, and Devin. He took immense pride in being a grandfather to Joshua and Madison, who brought him boundless joy. Ed was a beloved son to Carol ( nee Kluczynski) and the late Walter E. Jeffrey, while also being a cherished brother to Mark and Brent (Lena) Jeffrey. His life was blessed with a close-knit extended family, including nieces and nephews. Ed was a special nephew to Uncle Dan Jeffrey and shared a dear brother-in-law bond with Howard, Gregory (Dianna), and Philip (Sheri) Culbert. Dear aunt of Judy (Bob) Olds. Professionally, Ed was a skilled journeyman but also known for his love of music and his talent as a DJ, passionately entertaining many at events, especially at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Ed's huge heart defined him; he was an individual who selflessly prioritized the welfare of others above his own. To know Ed was to love him, and he leaves behind countless friends and relatives who grieve his departure. In addition to his immediate family and extended relatives, Ed is survived by numerous friends and acquaintances—all of whom were touched by his kindness and generosity. His legacy of love, compassion, and boundless energy for life will endure in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Visitation for Ed will be on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with an evening Knights of Columbus rosary service at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc. 11470 13 Mile Rd. (just west of Hoover Rd. ) Warren. His funeral will be on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Additional visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service. Edmund J. Jeffrey will forever be remembered for his unwavering devotion to family and friends, his kindness, and his generous spirit. May his soul rest in peace.
