Maddison B. Birgbauer

Maddison “Maddii” Bailey Birgbauer passed away on May 5, 2023, due to complications from Cystic Fibrosis, at the age of 26, at the University Hospital in Cleveland, OH. She was born on January 24, 1997, in Detroit. Survived by the love of her life Stephen Prybys. Loving daughter of Gordon and Jennifer (DeLange) Birgbauer. Loving sister of Nick (Julie) Birgbauer and Katy (Casey) Siereveld. Proud and loving aunt of Coleman, Paige, and Graham. Dear granddaughter of Sara DeLange. Loving niece of Kathy Mikolowski, Rob (Lois) Delange, Colleen DeDeckere, Michael (Amy) DeLange, Kelley (Matt) Miller, and Noah (Kim) DeLange. Maddison is survived by many cousins and friends and will be terribly missed by Moon, her cat, and the family dog Parker. Maddison was predeceased by Grandfather Robert DeLange, Grandparents Gordon and Mary Lou Birgbauer, Uncle Kevin Mikolowski, and cousin Aarika Mikolowski. Maddii was known for her quick wit and her love of all animals, especially her cat Moon. Maddii enjoyed reading, gaming, and cooking shows all while enjoying a nice glass of ice water. She loved fashion and modeling and participated in several fashion shows and pageants. Her favorite place to be was sitting on a beach in the warm sun and the water at her feet. Maddii felt very strongly about people becoming organ donors as she was the recipient of a double lung transplant in 2021. She was always so thankful for that gift that gave her extra time with her loved ones. We know Maddii is at peace in heaven enjoying Benihana, unlimited sushi, and a good plate of pretzels with warm cheese. The visitation for Maddison will be on Friday from 2:00-8:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home – Gendernalik Chapel, 35259 23 Mile Road, New Baltimore. On Saturday there will be a visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM with the memorial service beginning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
